Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

gotz collects:

• Account information: first and last name, username, phone number, and email, if provided.
• Order and request content: what you type or upload when placing a product order or a custom design request, including descriptions, specs, reference links, sketches, and photos.
• Approximate location: used client-side, with your permission, to rank nearby stores and creators. If you don't grant location access, a default city center is used instead.
• Profile photos and status-update photos, stored via Supabase Storage.
• Payment metadata (such as transaction status and amount) once payment processing is enabled — full card or bank details are handled entirely by our payment provider and never reach gotz's own servers.

2. How we use it

We use this information to operate the Service: matching you with nearby stores or creators, showing your order and request history, letting creators and stores send you quotes and build updates, securing your account, and communicating with you about your activity on gotz. We don't sell your personal information.

3. Who we share it with

A store or creator you're matched with can see what's relevant to fulfill your request (for example, your order details and approximate location) — not your full account. Uploaded images tied to a request are visible to the store or creator handling it. We don't share your data with third parties beyond what's needed to run the Service (for example, our hosting, database, and — once enabled — payment providers), and we don't share it for advertising purposes.

4. Where it's stored

Account and order data is stored in a Postgres database with row-level security, so a user can only read data they're authorized to see. Uploaded images (sketches, references, avatars, status photos) are stored via Supabase Storage.

5. Your choices

You can review and edit your personal details from your profile at any time. You can revoke location permission in your browser or device settings — nearby matching will fall back to a default location. To request deletion of your account and associated data, use the Support option in your profile.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and order data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain business records, after which it's deleted or anonymized.

7. Children

gotz is not directed to children, and accounts require the capacity to form a binding contract.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
